H'okay, so, my new years resolution was to try to draw a lot more traditional stuff this because last year was just epic fail. Well, it's epic fail again. I've only drawn ONE full traditional piece that wasn't porn. It's quite sad and I've become quite frustrated with myself. I thought 2008 was bad, this is just silly.
I can't think of ANYTHING to draw on my own anymore and it's quite discouraging. I don't know if it's the stress of college or I'm too tired or what..I don't know. Anyway, I woke up this morning, checked DA, pulled out some paper and started on this. I think it's really cool. I haven't drawn Lucifer in looong time and because of my style change, he looks so different. I love it. I had a lot of fun with this. Drawing it was especially fun. Inking...eh, I'm out of practise, so it's sloppy. The colouring was super fun...except for the wings. Very tedious and didn't turn out too well. Plus, I got bored like, 1/3 of the way done  But, I'm glad I did this. I love the outcome, even if the scan doesn't show how well it's coloured 100%. It's close enough. He's so pretty. Traditional work takes a lot of patience. You seem to hold a bundle of it. If I get bored I get up and walk around and do 3 other things at the same time. LOL
