Hmmm, didn't think I would finish her the next day.
I was VERY close to quitting when I was doing her bustier.. VERY hard to duplicate the sequin look...so I kind of just went my own way. Don't stare at it too much, it'll start looking like a mess of colours (which it is)

I started this in the beginning of January, after I had found a picture of Christina Aguilera in this outfit. I was going to attempt a different picture, but realize the angle and lighting would be too hard for me to duplicate...and then I found a movie poster of her in this outfit, so I started painting

Spent maybe...15-20 hours on it. It's hard to say at this point. Most of it was spent on the skin and hair...the last 4 hours was her dress thing...turned out to be quite easy once I got past her boobs

I really like it, but I still have a lot to learn with paintings...I am getting better/faster at them I've come a loooong way.

I will be posting a detail shot and a progress animation for you guys
